2006 Colorado Cabernet Sauvignon, Grand Valley

Our latest release is a Bordeaux style blend of 81% Cabernet Sauvignon and 19% Merlot. With this medium-full bodied Cab, you will notice blackberries, raspberries and a slight hint of mint. As you swirl and take a second sniff, hints of smoke, cedar, vanilla and tangy cranberries show through. We find that the flavors are straight-forward with a pleasantly youthful tannic finish. This Cab will be great with roast beef, rosemary crusted pork loin, or Steak Diane. Drink now through 2012.
